Whether your needs are for camping, construction site, hunting, disaster recovery, emergency communications, or emergency home use, the PB-1000 is a 12V 80Ahr portable power solution that goes where you go. At 80Ahr the PB-1000 will power a typical laptop computer continuously for approximately 15 hours or a weather radio for 64 hours/ almost 4 days. When attached to the, SP-1000, the 30W solar panel, the battery life is extended by nearly 25% and also the solar panel can keep the battery charged and reused indefinitely.

Regardless if you are an outdoors men needing power camping, a Red Cross disaster coordinator needing power at a storm shelter for an emergency radio, or a parent who needs power quickly when the lights go out, Ean Cargoe Power Products provide quick and simple power solutions.

Above in Figure 1 there are three power circuits. The top one is for hooking up bare wire (emergency situations) for any device that needs 12V DC power. Moving down are two more cigarette receptacles that will power anything needed 12VDC power from a cigarette plug, up to 15amps each. The very bottom cigarette receptacle is for plugging in the solar panel for charging up the PB-1000. Just plug in the solar panel, flip the switch up to "connected" and the PB-1000 is charging. Nothing beats free power!

Equipment Usage Chart

Reciprocating Saw 720 Watts
While the PB-1000 is designed to power equipment up to 720 Watts, one must remember the more power drawn from a battery the faster it drains. A good rule of thumb to follow is this. Items listed in the chart on the left and below the line will typically run for up to 20 hours on a single charge. Major power usage such as a drill or saw, items above the line, can drain the PB-1000 in as little as 15 minutes.

Remember, the PB-1000 was designed for low power consumption (<100 Watts) such as emergency radios, cell phone charges, walkie-talkie recharging, and LED lights. When used with these items AND plugged into and using the solar panel, the PB-1000 can sustain these items indefinitely*. Drawing more power than the solar panel can charge will cause the PB-1000 to eventually drain.

The design thought behind the PB-1000 is this, "One Box, One Radio, Indefinite Power."
